World Talent Campus held with success

It was with great success that the World Talent Campus last week ended as biotech talents from the world´s leading universities participated for a one-week course at Ph.d level.

World Talent Campus is one of BIOPROS' initiatives aimed at promoting Denmark and BIOPRO as a global biotech hotspot. With the support of the Novo Nordisk Foundation, BIOPRO once a year organize a World Talent Campus, bringing together the next generation of biotech research leaders to share knowledge and find inspiration.

-      Initially, the plan is that, over a five-year period, we invite 120 of the largest biotech talents to join World Talent Campus. The initiative will thus help strengthen Copenhagen's position as an international biotech hotspot as talents build global networks and come to know the other participants, companies and universities, says CEO Jesper Bryde-Jacobsen from BIOPRO.

This year’s event featured exchange of knowledge and experience in biotechnological production and positive experiences and insight into different cultures, and not to forget the formation of new networks and relationships.

Thanks to everyone who participated and helped to make the event special.

The week went fast and we are already looking forward to next year's World Talent Campus. Below are some pictures from this year's Campus.

At the World Talent Campus the biotech talents were gathered in four groups where they were presented to a challenging task, which they submitted at a final presentation at the Maersk-McKinney Møller Science Center in Sorø. Here is the group which was tributed for the best reply.
